RDP is a leading Indian computing brand for Design & Manufacture of Computing Devices like Laptop PC, Desktop PC, Tablet PC, All in One PC, Servers and Workstations. We have our presence across India and are catering to the increasing demand of the Indian Product in the IT Hardware segment.

You will be responsible for building and assembling desktop computers and related components such as processors, memory, hard drives, and peripherals. You will typically work in a production or manufacturing setting and may be responsible for testing and troubleshooting assembled computers to ensure they are functioning properly. Additionally, you may be responsible for maintaining inventory and ordering new components as needed.

Responsibilities

  1. Assembling desktop computers and related components such as processors, memory, hard drives, and peripherals.

  2. Installing operating systems and software on assembled computers.

  3. Testing and troubleshooting assembled computers to ensure they are functioning properly.

  4. Maintaining inventory of components and ordering new parts as needed.

  5. Following safety guidelines and procedures while assembling computers.

  6. Keeping accurate records of assembled computers, including serial numbers and component details.

  7. Communicating effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.

  8. Staying current with new technologies and components to improve assembly processes.

  9. Reviewing computer parts for quality before they enter the assembly area.

  10. Follow the RDP SOP manual in performing the Job. 

Requirements

  1. Strong technical skills and knowledge of computer hardware and components.

  2. Experience in assembling and troubleshooting desktop computers.

  3. Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

  4. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues with assembled computers.

  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  6. Good communication skills to work effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

  7. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

  8. Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.

  9. Familiarity with basic computer software and operating systems.

  10. High school diploma or equivalent, and certification in computer hardware or related field may be required or preferred.
