  • The pay scale would be 1350 + DA for the pay level 1 and 2. From 3 to 8 they charge around 3600 + DA. and for 9 and above, it will be 7200 + DA. 

  • For the central government employees that are apart from these locations. The allowances were quite different. It stands around 900 + DA for 1 and 2 pay levels. 1800 + DA for 3 to 8 pay levels. And they charge 3600 + DA for 9 and above for transport allowances.

Conditions for TPT allowance for Central Government Employees:

There are specific conditions under which the transport allowances were considered as admissible. One must make sure that they are acknowledged under this criterion. Those conditions were as follows - 

The allowances were not considered under paid leaves provided for the employees.

This allowance is not considered for the abroad deputation period.

This allowance can be admissible in case an employee is on leave for the purpose of travel/tour for the whole calendar month. 

No TA is admissible for the period of training. As it only considers when there is no transport facility available for a training institute in a farther place.

It is admissible for providing transportation when there is no such facility between office and residence. 

It is also admissible for the purpose of the staff vacation. When no such transport facility is available. 

Transport allowance is not acceptable in case of suspension period. 

TPT allowance for disable Central Government Employee:

The physically challenged employees were made capable of drafting the allowance.

Recognised government hospital recommendations should be done. 

Medical certificate issued by a recognised medical authority. 

Referred to the government hospital in case of any query. 

Pays double the rate from the issue of the disability certificate. 

This duration is considered as working/on duty without any cut-off in provided pay.

However, it is not considered under suspension. 

Training will be considered as an allowance in this criterion. 

TPT allowance for Pensioners: 

The pensioners can also claim the TPT allowances without indulging in LTA. The retirees were entitled to apply for the whole calendar month. This allowance includes the pay to overall regions in India. Under this allowance, the government bears the expenses of central government employees. But not admissible for the expenses done for their family/dependent members.
