Trainee Support Engineer

Responsibilities

  1. Act as the first point of contact within the engineering team for support cases escalated from help desk and client service

  2. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers

  3. Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams

  4. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers

  5. Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions

  6. Ensure all issues are properly logged

  7. Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time

  8. Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting

  9. Prepare accurate and timely reports

  10. Maintain jovial relationships with clients


Requirements

  1. Fresh Graduates. B.Tech or any other discipline who are  passionate about IT Hardware

  2. Excellent fundamental knowledge of computer hardware and software

  3. Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

  4. Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

  5. Knowledge of  remote desktop applications and help desk software (eg. Zendesk) is a plus

  6. Advanced knowledge of MS Office products

  7. Able to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment

  8. Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus

  9. Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

  10. 1 year bond is mandatory
