Responsibilities
Coordinate purchasing activities with production and engineering departments in an efficient and cost-effective way.
Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization.
Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
Finding new suppliers and conducting business assessments and evaluations with major suppliers.
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring problems.
Stay up to date on industry trends and new products.
Ensure the optimization of freight logistics.
Requirements
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer science or a relevant field.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Sound knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes and experience in contract negotiations.
Negotiation skills and costing knowledge is required.
Ability to control Purchase requisition, purchase orders and its Docs.
Candidates with IT Hardware background will be an added advantage
Analytical skills with ability to solve complex problems and use good judgment.
Proficient in problem-solving.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Immediate joiner is preferred.
