Top 10 Job Responsibilities for Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist

  1. The candidate will be responsible for the talent acquisition of a few specific departments of the company for which complete knowledge of the department has to be gained/learned.

  2. Collaborating with Managers / HODs and understanding different job functions departmental playbook, SOP and role requirements for better Talent Acquisition TA experience and delivery for the department assigned.

  3. Understanding of the Job Position (JP) in alignment to the Job Description (JD) and posting the same in all the job boards, social medias, professional medias, Employee Referrals etc. 

  4. Make the Job Position live in all the above platforms, and assign the same to the  vendors strategically. Then open the Job Position in Open Job (OJ).

  5. Screen the applicants received from various sources and evaluate if they meet the position requirements and accordingly move to “Initial Qualifications” in the recruitment app.

  6. Every working day, a minimum of 6 relevant candidates has to be shortlisted. And every month minimum 6 candidates have to be onboarded. 

  7. Coordinate with the  senior recruiters, managers, HODs to conduct all levels of interviews.

  8. Handing over the shortlisted candidates to the on-boarding team and following up with them till on-boarding life cycle.

  9. Managing hiring pipeline(s) for minimum two candidates for  each JP and keeping them in the “senior recruiter shortlist” stage in the recruitment app.

  10. Once the position is filled, close the JP, OJ and all other job boards,social media social media, professional media, Employee Referrals etc.


Top 10 Job Requirements for Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist

  1. Masters Degree or equivalent  in Human Resource Management.

  2. Maximum 3 years of overall experience in HR with minimum 2 years in  Talent Acquisition vertical.

  3. Complete working experience in the full-cycle hiring process, especially in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  4. Excellent fluency/command over the English, Hindi & Telugu (optional) Language.

  5. Familiar with tools like HRMS, ATS, job boards (Naukri, Monster, Times Jobs etc.), LinkedIn and other social media.

  6. Hands on experience with managing Walk in Interview, Job posting, In house Hiring, Knowledge of Job Portals, Mass Mailing Job Consultant Management.

  7. Learning attitude with strong interpersonal & stake-holder management skills.

  8. Strong tenacity and ability to build a solid network.

  9. Able to manage deadlines with quality output.

  10. Immediate joiner is preferred, work from office, Monday to Saturday.
