As a part of the RDP IT-Support team, the Onsite technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing IT support at client sites including computer hardware troubleshooting and replacement , network troubleshooting etc. Onsite Support is the second point of escalation for the resolution of desktop or laptop related incidents, service requests, and connectivity issues etc.


  1. Work on client sites, including going offshore and remote connection and assisting with hardware installations and troubleshooting, software upgrades, systems integrations, and basic IT related issues.

  2. Responding to client support requests who are experiencing basic hardware and software issues in a fast and effective way.

  3. Provides second-line investigation and troubleshooting.

  4. Resolve troubleshooting and close customer tickets as per company SOP.

  5. Coordinate with L2 Desktop support engineers at the time of troubleshooting.

  6. Check and confirm with clients to ensure their systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.

  7. Create and maintain log notes in internal CRM tools.

  8. Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams

  9. Maintaining and improving the customer service. 

  10. Maintain jovial relationships with clients.


  1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field.

  2. Experience:1-2 years of experience as an On site support engineer  in the IT-Hardware industry.

  3. Age: Minimum 25 Years to Maximum 35 years.

  4. Ready to travel 90% in a single month

  5. In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software and network troubleshooting.

  6. Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.

  7. Excellent communication skills in English , Hindi and regional language.

  8. Excellent customer interface skills

  9. Good analytical and problem solving skills.

  10. Immediate Joiner is preferred.
