Retail Chain Analytics.
Per-Store AI with Chain-Wide Dashboard.
Per-store AI edge node architecture for footfall analytics, shelf compliance, queue management, and loss prevention — with chain-wide aggregation dashboard. Scales from 50 to 500+ stores with 4G uplink and central reporting.
Retail Chain Analytics — System Architecture
Every store gets a compact AI edge node processing 4–8 camera feeds for footfall counting, heatmap generation, shelf compliance detection, queue length monitoring, and shrinkage alerting. Store-level insights are available locally on any browser. Aggregated KPIs are pushed to regional hubs and the HQ dashboard via 4G uplink — enabling chain-wide benchmarking without centralised video infrastructure.
How the tiers connect
Tier 1 — Store Edge
Each store runs a compact fanless AI node processing all cameras locally. Footfall counts, heatmaps, queue alerts, and shelf compliance scores are generated on-device. The store operates fully autonomously — even if connectivity drops, all analytics continue.
Tier 2 — Regional Hub
One hub per 50 stores aggregates KPIs pushed via 4G. Enables cross-store benchmarking, regional manager dashboards, and planogram compliance tracking. Located in regional office or co-located in data centre.
Tier 3 — HQ Analytics
Central dashboard server provides chain-wide visibility — store ranking by conversion, footfall trends, queue SLA compliance, shrinkage hotspot analysis. REST API for integration with existing BI/ERP tools.
Complete BOM — every component specified

What you need to deploy
Power
Store node: 15W (single socket). Hub/server: standard rack power.
Cooling
Store node: fanless, rated 0–45°C (fits under counter or in back office). Servers: standard rack cooling.
Connectivity
4G SIM per store (2–5 Mbps sufficient — metadata only). Fibre for regional hubs.
Space
Store node: 200×200×50mm (fits in back office or ceiling void). No server room needed at store level.
Installation
RDP provides bulk pre-configuration, camera placement guide, remote commissioning, and store-level UAT. 50+ stores can be deployed in 4–6 weeks.
Standards and regulatory alignment
- DPDP Act 2023 (video stays in-store)
- PCI-DSS compatible (no card data captured)
- FSSAI / legal metrology compatible
- GeM-listed (all components)
- Make in India certified
