The central government has notified the holiday calendar for the year 2023. The central government employees are going to avail of national holidays on two criteria. One is a closed holiday and the other is a restricted holiday. The closed holidays refer to the office or department remaining closed on that particular occasion/ holiday. The restricted holidays are also similar to closed holidays. The only aspect that makes difference is the office/department remains as a working day.
