When your business is e-commerce at India-scale, endpoint compute is plumbing — it has to work, cost little, and be invisible to everyone except the IT team that runs it. RDP’s Mini PC became part of that plumbing across Flipkart’s back-office network.

Client: Flipkart
Product deployed: RDP Mini PC

The Challenge
Flipkart runs one of India’s largest e-commerce operations — fulfilment centres, back-office operations, customer-support floors, and administrative hubs across the country, all on 24/7 cadence. Endpoint compute at that scale has to hit three targets simultaneously: cost-efficient per seat, durable through multi-shift use, and simple enough in its IT profile that deployments and refreshes don’t turn into projects on their own.

The Deployment
Flipkart deployed the RDP Mini PC as a standard endpoint across back-office and fulfilment workstations. The small form factor freed floor space and cable clutter; the standardised build gave IT a single image to maintain; and the low-power profile reduced per-seat operating cost — meaningful at Flipkart’s scale. RDP’s pan-India service footprint matched Flipkart’s geographic spread.

The Outcome
Flipkart got a fleet-scale endpoint footprint with a consistent device profile, predictable TCO, and simpler asset management. The Mini PC became a part of the back-office toolkit that IT doesn’t have to think about — which, at this scale, is the highest compliment an endpoint can earn.
In back-office operations that benefit compounds quietly: shorter boot times before shift handover, simpler re-imaging when a seat is re-assigned, fewer RMA tickets against the same device identity, less cable and heat on a floor where hundreds of seats share HVAC. Individually, none of those are headline numbers. Together, at fleet scale, they are the reason a standardised endpoint pays for itself year on year.

At our scale, an endpoint that ‘just works’ is worth more than an endpoint with a longer spec sheet. RDP delivered on both.

The Product
The RDP Mini PC is designed for exactly this kind of assignment — fleet-scale deployments where reliability, manageability, and per-seat economics matter more than any single spec. It’s the standard-issue endpoint for organisations that measure computers by the cohort, not by the unit.
